NGO THY organized an end-of-year intercultural activity designed to strengthen mutual understanding, social cohesion, and respect for diversity. The activity created a safe and inclusive space where participants could connect through dialogue, cooperation, and shared experiences rooted in their cultural traditions.
By bringing elements of their own customs, recipes, and festive practices, participants transformed the activity into a meaningful exchange of identities and stories. Through collaborative cooking and creative work, they explored similarities and differences across cultures, fostering empathy, openness, and a sense of belonging.
This activity went beyond celebration. It served as a practical example of how shared traditions can be a powerful tool for intercultural learning, breaking down stereotypes and building trust among participants from different backgrounds.
Through initiatives like this, NGO THY continues to promote active participation, intercultural dialogue, and inclusive communities, reinforcing the idea that diversity is not only to be celebrated, but understood, respected, and lived together.
