Testimonials

In this Youth Exchange not just I knew amazing people, but also I got very valuable information. Taking into consideration the trainers were so experienced in the field of Entrepreneurship and Design Thinking process. The place of the venue is known to be one of the best places in Europe. I have created a strong friendship and I have met with participants from previous projects, where I have felt so nostalgic.

This journey was one of those adventures that change your life. I have learned so many things because of it, and I€™m so grateful for that. I have met the most amazing people that come from different countries but share similar perspectives. We made friendships that will, surely, last for a long time.

From the first time I knew that this Youth Exchange will be a very good experience.
Thank to NGO THY, I had the chance not only to meet with amazing people, but also to learn new things and to improve myself, without forgetting the games and the fun.
The trainers were so good, that made it looks very easy and now I have a different point of view about non-formal and informal education. At the end I want to say thank you THY for the opportunity.

The biggest challenge was the development of content for social innovation. The participants had different experiences and backgrounds, for some it was the first time as participants in a training and others had several years of experience. We focused on the competences of young leaders/workers. One of the ways to develop the training was to learn through experience, emotional, spiritual and intellectual experience. We learned about the realities faced by the participants of these countries. The training was developed by adapting to the participants because besides the methods and the relations are important in tracking the information.

This training helped me to learn the importance of future skills that seem to be necessary for young people and their success in life. Thinking, confronting diversity, conflict resolution, public speaking, group work, critical thinking were some of the key topics we had in this learning journey. All was accomplished using creative and energizing ways, impressive games, activities where we explored the realities and changes we want to see. For all this atmosphere, the credits go to the wonderful trainers to whom we will be grateful for the rest of our lives. Be ready society. I saw the change makers here, who have a vision to improve things.

First and foremost, I am grateful that I had the opportunity to participate in this training because these kinds of experiences are always valuable to me. Regarding this training I can say that in addition to the workshops prepared by the trainers, I liked the atmosphere and energy created by the whole group. I had the opportunity to improve my skills and knowledge about informal education, youth work and social innovations. In the end I just want to say thank you THY for everything I€™ve learned from you and thank you for everything you do for young people all over the world.

Youth Exchange in Bansko, Bulgaria helped me to understand the difference between types of entreprises. I have learned many ways to express my ideas and needs, and how to solve them. The topics that we talked about were really interesting and uncommon. The training helped me with my skills, with my understanding of problems. I learned to listen to others and to understand them. I can€™t wait to apply the knowledge that I get into everyday life. This experience made me a better person overall and I can not stress how good and important this was for me.

From all the training I attended, this was the most explained. Trainers were careful that the information was as clear as possible for the participants so that learning was effective. This training helped me to develop listening, observational skills and to understand others in a better way. The participants were very polite and sociable. I felt happy, involved by providing my help during the training.

Peter Duta, RomaniaParticipant | EMSI-YW Youth Exchange

This training was very important because we all had the opportunity to express our perspectives regarding the various problems and situations of each country. The knowledge that I have received in this training will be used during my work in the future, and I will also convey it to other young people.

Liliya Georgieva, BulgariaParticipant | EMSI-YW Youth Exchange

I feel extremely happy that I was given an opportunity to participate in this training course. The things that we learned so far it is like nothing I have experienced before. The methodology that is being used has broader my point of view not just for myself but also as a whole among each-other as participants. It€™s my first time in Kosovo and I am enjoying it to the fullest from both educational and fun part.

Blagica EftimovaParticipant | EMSI-YW Youth Exchange

On this training, I met a lot of amazing people, and honestly, I learned a lot about the topic from the trainers but also from the participants and I feel like I grew as a person. On this training course, I learned a lot about social innovation, and I am really grateful to the hosting organization THY from Kosovo for the opportunity. I met amazing new friends from Albania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Kosovo, Romania, and Turkey.

Nikola PavkovićParticipant | EMSI-YW Youth Exchange

Initially I was very enthusiastic about being part of this training for the fact that it would take place in Kosovo and the participants were from different countries. In addition to the knowledge we received during the training, we were closely acquainted with the social realities of other countries. One of the most important parts was the exchange of cultures and the building of bridges of cooperation. This training helped me increase my personal skills by providing me with the ability to see things from another perspective.

Elisabeta Rada – AlbaniaParticipant | EMSI-YW Youth Exchange

It didn€™t matter if you came from North Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Romania, Bulgaria, Kosovo or Turkey, everyone united to learn something new and do something that matters. This was my fourth project so far and it made a big impact on my everyday life. I finally understood more while listening to other€™s experiences how small things can make a huge difference. Not only the project gave me knowledge, it also gave me an opportunity to meet the most amazing motivated young people. I was given a gift of wonderful friendships, love and warm people. The most surprising thing is that we all were like one big family.
