This week, THY had the immense honor of hosting a distinguished delegation from VHS Bingen, led by René Nohr (General Director), Nina Göttelmann (Head of the Music School), María Jóse Lafuente (Head of the Digitalization Unit), and Yannik Eberhard (Head of the Examinations Unit).
During their visit, a groundbreaking milestone in adult education was celebrated—the signing of the first-ever twinning agreement between youth and adult education centers in Kosovo and Germany.
The agreement was officially signed during a special reception held at the Municipality of Prizren, where Deputy Mayor Kujtim Gashi, Chairwoman Antigona Berisha Bytyqi, and Nexhat Mackaj warmly welcomed the guests. This partnership builds upon the longstanding relationship between the twin cities of Prizren and Bingen, which have maintained close ties since the 1960s.
This historic collaboration marks a new chapter of cooperation, fostering exchange, innovation, and capacity-building in education across both communities.
