THY proudly participated in the international conference “Adult Learning and Education and Local Authorities,” held in Bonn, Germany, and organized by DVV International. The event brought together key stakeholders from Kosovo, including Mr. Edin Shehu, Director of Administration from the Municipality of Prizren, Ms. Xhenet Syka Kelmendi from the Municipality of Peja, and Mr. Ramadan Alija, Director of DVV International in Kosovo.
As the initiators of Kosovo’s first Youth and Adult Learning and Education Center, in partnership with DVV International, THY emphasized the importance of fostering strong collaboration between adult learning centers and local governments.
The conference served as a platform for exchanging ideas, presenting good practices, and exploring innovative strategies to make lifelong learning accessible, inclusive, and impactful for all.
Inspired by the exchange, THY remains committed to advancing adult education in Kosovo and turning these shared insights into concrete initiatives that strengthen community resilience and lifelong learning opportunities.
