With support from NGO THY, students from school “Motrat Qiriazi”, winners of the PODIUM workshop, organized a cleanup action in one of Korishë’s most visited areas to raise awareness about environmental protection.
Divided into teams, the students took part in a friendly competition to see who could collect the most waste, turning a littered space into a cleaner, more welcoming environment. In a short time, the area was transformed as bags filled with trash marked tangible progress toward a healthier planet.
Following the cleanup, the young participants reflected on the importance of caring for the environment and discussed practical steps everyone can take to preserve public spaces. Their clear message: protecting the environment requires ongoing collective effort and a shared culture of responsibility.
