NGO THY had the honor of welcoming a distinguished delegation from its international partner institutions for an official visit focused on youth empowerment and community-driven innovation. The delegation included Mr. Ehmeir, Head of the Unit Countries and Regions at the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) Headquarters; Mr. Liebmann, Deputy Director for International Partnerships at the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Ms. Glavitza, Head of Cooperation at the Austrian Embassy; and Ms. Vashchenko, Head of UNICEF Kosovo.

During the visit, the delegation met with young people who have successfully designed and implemented impactful initiatives through the Podium and UPSHIFT programs. These projects showcased the power of youth-led action, highlighting how creativity, commitment, and initiative can translate into tangible positive change within local communities.

The discussion provided an opportunity to reflect on the achievements of the participating young people, as well as the challenges and opportunities they encounter in their efforts to contribute to social development. The delegation expressed strong appreciation for the innovative ideas presented and for the role of structured programs in nurturing youth potential.

The visit reaffirmed the importance of international cooperation and institutional support in empowering young people. It emphasized how partnerships between civil society organizations, international institutions, and development actors are essential in creating opportunities for youth development, fostering innovation, and encouraging active participation in building a more inclusive and sustainable future.
