Peace is not only an idea; it is built every day through dialogue, understanding, and the courage to share our stories. “P(e)acing Together” project brought young people from Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo into one space, where they could learn, question, and reflect on what peace truly means.
During the Youth Exchange in Prizren, participants explored how peace connects to daily life: in conversations with peers, in the courage to listen to others, and in the willingness to see beyond differences. They spoke about challenges, hopes, and the small steps that make big changes possible.
This campaign gathers their voices. You will read about meaningful conversations that opened new perspectives, bold thoughts that challenged assumptions, and unexpected moments that left a lasting impact. Each story is a reminder that peace begins with people, with empathy, respect, and the desire to create something better together.
By sharing their reflections, our participants show that peace is not abstract. It is lived, practiced, and strengthened through every exchange. Their experiences are an invitation for all of us: to listen, to learn, and to take part in building more peaceful communities.
