P(e)acing Together is a regional initiative that brings together youth from Kosovo, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina to promote dialogue, mutual understanding, and peacebuilding in a region shaped by historical complexities.
Structured in three distinct phases, the project is designed to build the capacities of young people and youth workers, while fostering long-term connections and reconciliation across communities:
- Training Course – The project begins with an intensive training program that equips youth workers and peer educators with foundational knowledge and practical skills in peacebuilding, intercultural dialogue, and non-formal education.
- Training of Trainers (ToT) – In the second phase, selected participants deepen their expertise and prepare to take on facilitation and leadership roles. This ToT ensures sustainability and local impact by empowering a new generation of trainers who can implement peacebuilding initiatives within their own communities.
- Youth Exchange – The project concludes with a cross-border youth exchange, where young adults from the three participating countries engage in collaborative activities. This phase emphasizes storytelling, shared experiences, and co-creation of peace tools, turning theory into lived practice.
Through creativity, conversation, and collaboration, P(e)acing Together challenges divisions and encourages empathy, solidarity, and youth-led action. By investing in young people as agents of change, the project contributes to a more connected, peaceful, and inclusive Western Balkans.
